The short version. I only collect what you type into the waitlist form. I use it to contact you about the SkiMind parent & child ski program, and, only if you ask for it, to tell you about other classes. I don't sell your data, I don't use advertising trackers, and you can ask me to delete everything at any time by emailing hello@skimind.se.

What I collect
From the waitlist form:
- your first and last name and email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it;
- your child's age, and their first name if you choose to give it;
- which boxes you ticked, the exact consent text, and when you signed up and confirmed your email;
- where you came from (for example, the name of the Facebook group), if the link you clicked included it.
Technical data: like every website, the servers that deliver this page process your IP address and basic browser information to send you the page and protect it from abuse. I don't store your IP address in the waitlist.
I don't collect any other information about your child, and I never ask for health information, photos or payment details on this page.
Why I use it, and on what legal basis

You can withdraw any consent at any time by emailing me or replying to any of my emails. This doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew.
Email confirmation
After you sign up, I send one email with a confirmation link. You're only on the waitlist once you click it. If you don't confirm, your details are deleted automatically after 7 days.
Your child's data
The program is for parents, and I only communicate with the parent. I ask for your child's age so I can place them in the right age group; their first name is optional. Please don't sign up on behalf of another family.
Who else handles your data
I use a small number of service providers who process data on my behalf, under data processing agreements:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) stores the waitlist and sends my emails. Data is stored in the AWS region in Stockholm, Sweden.
- Cloudflare hosts the website, runs the sign-up form and protects it from bots with Cloudflare Turnstile, and forwards email sent to hello@skimind.se to my inbox.
- Google serves the fonts used on this page (Google Fonts), and the preview image of the "How not to teach" video. The video itself only loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) when you press play; from that moment, Google's own privacy policy applies to what you watch.
- My email provider holds copies of the emails I send and receive, including a notification with your details when you confirm your signup.
I don't sell or share your data with anyone else, and I don't use it for advertising.
Transfers outside the EU
Your waitlist data is stored in Sweden. Cloudflare, AWS and Google are US companies and may process some data (for example, your IP address when you load the page) outside the EU. Where that happens, it's covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long I keep it
- Unconfirmed signups: deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Confirmed waitlist and program data: until the end of the 2026/27 winter season, [30 April 2027], and then deleted, unless you've agreed to hear about other classes.
- News about other classes: until you unsubscribe or ask me to stop.
- You can ask me to delete everything earlier at any time.
Cookies
This page doesn't set any tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may use strictly necessary technical data to tell humans from bots when you submit the form. If you press play on the video, YouTube may store data in your browser under its own policy.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- get a copy of the data I hold about you;
- correct it if it's wrong;
- have it deleted;
- restrict or object to how I use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
Email hello@skimind.se and I'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se.
Changes
If I change how I use your data, I'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change matters to you, I'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
